"Who's In Chat" restored |

Thanks to Deviance's hard work on his IRC bot/API, we now have a listing of who's currently in our main chat channel on the board index again. Many of you might remember we had some issue with the way the data was received previously, and we had to disable the feature in order for the index to load in a reasonable amount of time. Hopefully that issue is resolved the way I've coded it now.

~1 month ago my 5th year as a GUer rolled up. It's been interesting what all things have happened during that time and how my life has changed. I've travelled, I've met new people, I've moved out of home, moved back in, changed computers couple of times, found new hobbies... And plenty of other. At the moment I'm in process of moving to another city. I'm also doing my internship, negotiating about transferring schools, and finding a summer job. There's also a possibility of going into student exchange for the fall. In such a short time life has grown busy....

Server down |

The server crashed yesterday due to a hard drive failure in the RAID array. After a bunch of work, they finally replaced everything, including the operating system, and restored from a daily backup. Please let me know if anything seems out of place or there is even more stuff broken this time.

After careful consideration and taking contact to the project staffers the following projects have left our board: Blasting Pixels The Legend of Zelda: ROTH trilogy SNDO We thank all of the developers for the time we spent together and we will be missing you guys! Scarzzur's and his Blasting Pixels web site will become an affiliate with GU though, so they aren't completely gone.
